Chico California Senior Portrait Photography: Polly

I first met Polly when we came to Chico. I could tell right away that Polly loved people! She is one of those persons that people gravitate to. As I have gotten to know Polly over the last few months, I continue to appreciate so many things about her. She is a leader and she is encouraging. She loves her family and the people in her life well.
I am sad that Polly is a senior and will be leaving our youth ministry at the end of this summer for her new adventures. She has left an impression on me and I am priveleged to docuument her beauty here!

A Look at Us Now....

Last night we had to document our five year anniversary! We dressed up, all colorful, and spent the night on the town. Little did we know that Chico State's graduation ceremonies are this weekend and last night's restaurants were packed.... Oh dear, always an adventure for us two! After trying to find a place with a wait less than an hour, we decided on frozen yogurt! Don't worry though, we ordered pizza in and watched our wedding video together! It was such a fun night! I am so blessed to be married to Kenny!

Five Years Today...

Today I celebrate my marriage and the best friend that a girl could ever have!

In five years Kenny and I have moved six times. We have worked with a myriad of different people in ministry. We have cheered each other on to bigger dreams and grieved with one another when dreams shattered. We have started ministries together and businesses together. We have pressed on. We have been defeated. We have believed in the greatness of God and seen that He is real and powerful. And so today, we celebrate -- we celebrate the rich life that God has given us together!

Happy Anniversary Kenny Stone! Thank you for all of the ways that you sacrifice for our family and make my life beautiful!

Chico California Senior Portrait Photography: Emma

Emma will graduate from high school next week! She is beautiful and tenacious and I can't wait to see what God has in store for her. I met Emma this past March when we traveled to Mexico with 138 other people. We worked on the same team together, building a home and let me tell you, she worked hard. I remember the first day of work, she stayed at the site, putting in over ten hours of really physical labor. The entire week, she worked with the same ethic.
I loved capturing Emma last week -- her beauty is inevitable!

Senior Portrait Photography: Brita

I just met Brita a month or so ago and capturing her has been one of my favorite things yet! She is elegant and classy and brilliant. Next year she will head to Pepperdine University and after seeing photos of the campus, in Malibu, I think that I should go visit! Brita is soft spoken and a sweet person. I am so glad to get to know not only Brita, but her whole family. They have been a huge blessing to us in our transition here to Chico!

Meet the sweet Barela Family! Brian and Aubrey have worked with the Chico State Campus Crusade now for quite a few years. At the end of this month, they are moving away from Chico and we wanted to capture some memories before they left. As you can tell, Aubrey and Brian keep themselves busy with three little ones, all under the age of four! They are great parents and it was so fun to hear a little about their journey and then capture some of their cute, cute family!
